| 2008 KIDS COME1st SPORTS FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM Program Outline The NFL Flag Football and the Full Contact Flag requires a commitment from all involved. All games will be played at March Middle School. All Games will start at 9:00am every Saturday morning. Below is what’s also included in the KCFS Flag Football program. • Weekly practices ( The NFL only requires that you practice at least once a week, Full Contact at least twice a week) • 12 game season , which does not include playoffs and championship games • All Star Celebration which happens towards the end of the season, where players have a chance to compete for prizes and awards. • Trophy awarded to all players • Special awards rewarded to outstanding achievements on and off the field Additional note: All players get to keep their Jersey’s at the end of the season. If fund raising efforts and/ or business sponsor ships are successful, KCFS will attempt to contribute towards other accessories, such as Football Cards, Football Gloves, Cleats, Etc. We at KCFS realize the important of our kid’s confidence inclined with their performance. In other words “If you look good” “You play good”! We are a non-profit organization, and all funds will go towards our programs and our youth in our programs. In Advance KIDS COME 1ST SPORTS would like to welcome and thank you for your participation and support of our 2008 Flag Football Program. In order for the program to be successful, it’s important that all players, family and friends commit to the program. With patience and diligence we will reach our goals. Our Spring Flag Football Program will run annually from April through July. Team Focus To provide the youth of Moreno Valley a fun and unique opportunity o develop their talents and skills to compete against other talented youths players in our area. We are committed to developing character, sportsmanship and integrity to all of our youth involved in our programs. Our Cost Kids Come 1st Sports Flag Football program has a registration fee. For returning players $105.00 ($65.00 plus a fund raiser fee of $40.00 which you will have an opportunity to get this portion back) and for new players &115.00. There will be a late fee access if payments are not made in full by the deadline. Those electing to make payments must make sure that all funds are due by March 15th, or their child will not receive a Jersey or trophy at the end of the season. The registration fee helps to support the Flag Football program administrative costs, (i.e., insurance, facilities, referees, staff support, awards, equipment, etc.). There are discount as scholarships available for does who qualify. PAYMENT METHOD AMOUNT DUE DATE Payment in full $115 Feb 28th Payment plans require at least 50% down $135 Mar 15th Discount A: three or more players (come from one family), you receive a $10 discount each player Discount B: A family of five players will get the 10 discount, and the 5th player will get to play for free. Other discounts are available such as scholorship and discount for low income family; please seek staff for that information. Parental Support In addition to fund raisers, KCFS will also attempt to obtain sponsorship from local businesses within our community and surrounding areas. As an incentive, KCFS will credit 25% of individual sponsorships raised to that player registration fee. For example, if a player or parent obtains a sponsorship of $1,000. $250 will be credited toward his/her registration refund. Our Outlook We at KCFS have dedicated ourselves to providing youth programs for the youth of Moreno Valley. Our Attentions are to continue to grow along with our community, and to provide the type of organization that you and your son/daughter would be proud to be a part of. With that being said, we cannot reach our goals along. We need your commitment and support. Board meeting s is held twice a month, and is a perfect place where we can here feedback from you, on: what you would like to see, what you feel needs to be change, etc. This is our third season, and through these meeting we have adopted some new policies, that we hope to ensure us, a smooth successful Spring Season. Let’s take a closer look at them • All players are guarantee at least 8 plays a game • Referees will set a tone early regarding player, coaches, and parent conduct. • Every player, coach, and parent will receive a code of conduct, which will have a sheet each parent and player will sign and return. • Each team or teams will have specific duties, which will be rotated, like: Set up crew, Cleanup crew, Snack bar crew etc. ( Your Coach will explain that more to you) • All Coaches will have to feel out an application, along with a background check form. • All Star Players competing in the All Star Game will not be permitted to compete in the All Star Challenges. • Both NFL and Full Contact Flag rules will be available for download on our website. Along with all other forms, like Sponsorship letter, donation letters, etc. • There will be weekly updates on the website along with voice mail updates as well. Our Hotline number is 951-247-4801.
