| 2008 KIDS COME 1st SPORTS TRAVELING BASKETBALL PROGRAM Program Outline Travel Basketball requires a commitment from all involved. Schedules of tournaments that we will participate in, throughout the year will be given to each parent. The following will be included with membership in the KCFS travel basketball program. • Weekly practices • Six Tournaments ( Extra Fees will be collected for unscheduled tournaments TBD) • Scheduled Tournament ( Players staying in team rooms will be required to pay extra based upon the cost of the hotel and number of players) • Rewards for top performers on and off the court • Rewards for top performers in fund raisers Additional note, tournaments are tentative and are subject to change. If fund raising efforts and/ or business sponsor ships are successful, KCFS will attempt to contribute towards other accessories, such as travel bags, team shoes, warm ups, etc. We at KCFS realize the important of our kid’s confidence inclined with their performance. In other words “If you look good” “You play good”! We are a non-profit organization, and all funds will go towards our programs and our you in our programs. In Advance KIDS COME 1ST SPORTS would like to welcome and thank you for your participation and support of our 2008 Travel Basketball Program. In order for the program to be successful, it’s important that all players, family and friends commit to the program. With patience and diligence we will reach our goals. Our Travel Basketball Program will run annually from January through December. Team Focus KIDS COME 1ST SPORTS Travel Basketball Program is to provide the youth of Moreno Valley a fun and unique opportunity o develop their talents and to compete against other top basketball programs throughout California and the nation. We are committed to developing character, sportsmanship and integrity to all of our youth involved in our programs. Our Cost Membership dues for the Kids Come 1st Sports Travel Basketball will continue to be payable on an annual, and or monthly basis. A $150.00 discount will be given for a full annual payment. Those electing to pay monthly must pay the initial payment of $150.00, then monthly thereafter. Dues help to support the travel teams and administrative costs, (i.e., insurance, facilities, transportation, staff support, tournament fees, lodging, etc.). The fee schedule is \ Parental Support In addition to fund raisers, KCFS will also attempt to obtain sponsorship from local businesses within our community and surrounding areas. As an incentive, KCFS will credit 25% of individual sponsorships’ raised to those player membership dues. For example, if a player of parent obtains a sponsorship of $1,000. $250 will be credited toward his/her membership dues. All returning players from this season to our next 2009 season will not have to pay membership dues. |
